This British television science fiction series broadcast on BBC. Gugu became famous for her performance as Tish Jones. The character was her sister. Gugu had a destiny to make an acting career once viewers was captivated by the vivacious and spirited personality. She's also been in other British stage and television productions. Her father worked as a used car seller. Her mother is a German who emigrated into America in the United States from Germany in 1958. In 1989 Handler was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away 10 years later. Handler is a Jew of the Reform movement Her father was Jewish. Handler was raised in a safe neighborhood and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. When she was in her early 20s she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Handler started performing for income. But, at age 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, as she was able to discover her storytelling skills. Handler began her professional career becoming a member of the only female Oxygen cast, which starred in a TV show called Girls Behaving BADLY. The show was renowned for its secret camera and humorous jokes. From 2002 to 2005, the show was aired. Handler started appearing on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also a an associate on The Tonight Show. Her breakthrough came in 2006, when she was able to host her own program on E! The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler then followed up with appearing in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour, within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have shown her stand-up performances live. In 2010, she was tapped for the role of host at 2010. MTV Video Music Awards.
